Staff and Leadership

Chuck Forsythe is our pulpit minister and a former missionary to Hong Kong. Upon returning to the United States, Chuck preached in Oklahoma before becoming our minister in 2001. Chuck is a graduate of East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions. In addition to preaching, Chuck leads Bible studies in two nearby nursing homes, teaches classes, and counsels members upon request.

Grant Knisley is our youth minister and webmaster. Grant first came to us in 1995 as a volunteer in the youth ministry. Then, as he was pursuing an education in music, he answered the call to ministry. Grant finished two degrees in music from Sinclair College and Wright State University. Then he completed a bachelor of theology from Harding University and a master's in youth and family ministry from Harding School of Theology.

Barry Bergsten is our outreach minister. He first came to us in July 2009 from Kansas where he had been a prison minister for 10 years. Upon arriving here, Barry was immediately involved as a Bible class teacher. He has also preached for us, held personal Bible studies, and teaches the Fishers of Men class. In addition, Barry visits inmates at the adult detention center and holds studies with people who are recovering adicts.
