Mid-Ohio Valley Workcamp

June 16-20, 2019

Mid-Ohio Valley Workcamp is a teen service outreach hosted by Ohio Valley University designed to help serve God by serving others. It's also a great time of bonding, growth, and fun.

Over 300 teens come to Workcamp from churches in Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia to paint and rehab houses.

During the days, teens go to various homes to scrape and paint, and encourage homeowners, most of which live on a fixed income or are senior citizens who are unable to do the work themselves. This  type of outreach has an amazing affect on the community and a deep impact on our youth.

During the evenings, we enjoy a nightly worship program at OVU. Groups are housed in dorms at OVU where we enjoy breakfast, dinner, and various recreational activities. Lunches are served by local churches. One evening during the week, teens go out on the town for dinner. At the end of the week, homeowners are invited to a special celebration and closing ceremony with all the teens.

Each teen needs to bring one 4" paintbrush. Everything else is provided. Be sure to download and fill out the three forms below and return them to Grant Knisley . Download the other resources to help you pack and get ready.
