Anyone who has ever tried to take care of flowers or plants knows there must be a balance between light, soil, and sun in order for plants to grow. Underwatered, the plant dies. Overwatered, the plant
dies. Not enough sun, the plant dies. And so on. I have certainly killed enough plants to be guilty of every infraction. I can even kill “Lucky” Bamboo! The same balance is true for our spiritual lives as well. We need to have the proper nourishment of God’s word in order to live and thrive as Christian women.
